GINYA moved to Vancouver from Winnipeg in 1994 and discovered her Judaism through Schara Tzedeck soon thereafter. Scott and Ginaya married in 2004 and have 3 beautiful children: Ellis, now 17 and twins Lucy and Anya, now 14.

SCOTT is an artist and graphic designer and is known throughout the Jewish community as someone to go to for portraits, bar and bat mitzvah graphics, event graphics, and support with anything creative.

Ginaya is a teacher with the Vancouver School Board and is happy to contribute her special education expertise to the Jewish day schools, shuls, and to families needing guidance and advocacy.

Community involvement is a big part of their lives. Ginaya sits on the boards of VHA and Schara Tzedeck. Ellis is on the NCSY board and is active in the shul community, from helping to leyne torah and lead davening, to reading torah for the tot service. Lucy and Anya lead the tot services and are active in NCSY.

All 3 children are active in volunteering their time and energy with various shul projects, giving Scott and Ginaya much continued nachas.
